Abstract

|
Radioactivity of a radar room of ROK Air Force was surveyed. Radioactivity of a room of radar equipment was almost equal to the natural radiation background.
No effects of radioactivity can be, therefore, considered to the radar personnel working near the equipment. Radioactivity was detected in Some kinds of parts of radar set, such as tubes ATR-387 and IB 63-A (IOD). Radioactive waste articles should not be broken. And. those should be removed and buried deeply in the ground or at sea.
